No tape on the ferrule before gluing on the tip? Sanding the ferrule twice? Put the tip on, then clean the ferrule. You'll remove less material.

Where did you get the rubber bumpers and what is the weight of these? How difficult would it be to add an adjustable weight bolt system? I would like to start making these as well and doing my research. The CA glue you use for the finish, is it the one with the rubber additive in it or no need?

The shaft also has a slight curve but I have learned to just turn the stick slightly and I’m good with it. Definitely too afraid to have anyone try to straighten it. But I desperately want to get it retipped

I need my tip replaced and do not know who to contact, please help, I am in Florida and my cue stick is a custom Maucci 17oz with a 9mm French tip. My husband has an Adam’s cue and when he had it retipped they actually cut the shaft off to retip it. My cue is well over 30 years old and I am freaking terrified to leave it with just anyone.
